I get a LOT of mixed reactions when I share aspects of how I do my daily journaling.
I made a TikTok recently that suggested daily journaling is an ADHDers best friend, and this video has quickly become one of my most viewed and engaged videos on my account.
I got a lot of questions, most of which included:
- Can you show how did you this?
- Is there a template for this?
- How do you build the habit?
I’ve been journaling in *Notion for over 1500+ days in a row now, and my journal has evolved into an advanced interconnected system that relies on many other databases in my workspace.
In this video I share how I use Notion for journaling and tracking.
The first half of the video goes behind the scenes of my personal *Notion journal (complete with some TMI), what properties I use and why, and then I transition into showing you how to build a simplified one from scratch. Here’s a link to the template I built in the video for you to use as a starting point.
[*For full disclosure, I’m a *Notion Partner, so when you sign up with my link, you also help support me and my content!]

Brilliant. So thankful for your incredible window into your system.
One quick note for this page is simply a grammatical one. The sentence “ Can you show how did you this?”
I only mention it because I would want someone to mention it to me.
Again, thank you for opening up your brain and operation to the rest of us.
