This is how I’ve been using *Notion to help me learn how to style my naturally wavy hair.
I’ve fought my naturally wavy hair my whole life, and didn’t realize that I was creating more damage by resisting my hairs’ natural texture, and trying to straighten it every day. I had no idea about any of the techniques or products that can help us wavy haired girls embrace and enhance our waves.
I’m on a journey to try to embrace my natural hair by learning how to take better care of it, but WOW there’s a lot to learn. I created a Wavy Hair dashboard to help me take notes about products, application techniques, routines, etc.
I take a selfie every day and take note of what I did, what products I use, so I can learn how to get better.
Are you on your own natural/wavy/curly hair journey?

Hi Marie! Oh my gosh – this was an awesome vlog to watch and a great way to be introduced to you.
My name is Sharlene and I came across your website via a plug you got from Ali Abdaal. Ali’s an incredible YouTuber (Influencer?) and I was watching one of his posts about Notion.
So I came here to learn about Notion and how it could help me both personally and professionally as I set out to build a business for myself. The fun part for me is that I came here to learn from you and here you are struggling to learn about your hair … and I’m a hair stylist – with ADHD also! I just wanted to say hi and point out the fun coincidence 🙂
I wish you luck with your hair and if I may offer some unsolicited advice, consider the following; is your hair course or fine? If course, use a rich conditioner. If fine, use a light conditioner. The cut: layers show-off wavy hair beautifully. If your routine allows, wash in the eve and let it sit in a towel for 15min to sop-up moisture. Remove towel, finger comb and allow to air dry. Next morning, finger comb again using a little anti-frizz spray conditioner if necessary. I have long wavy hair too and this is the routine I follow. My hair looks great and requires very little attention.
All the best!
Sharlene
